We have three designated playrooms for our children aged 0-2 years our staff team provide high standards of care and education and support parents returning to work by following our youngest children’s own individual home routine to ensure continuity of care between home and nursery and easing the settling process.
The playrooms provide spacious excellently resourced play areas within a natural, caring, nurturing environment which supports a wealth of experiences for young inquiring minds. We have one playroom which provides an enhanced transition to our toddler room for those children who would benefit from this. All of our playrooms offer a variety of experiences which help to develop creativity, curiosity, friendships and fun based learning.
We have a dedicated garden for our 0-2 children which along with our other outdoor areas has been recognized in the top 5 in Scotland for best outdoor learning environment in 2018. This is not only down to the space we have available but also the multiple ways in which we use our outdoor areas. Here at Cadzow we believe that our outdoor areas are an extension to our playrooms and use them daily for an array of experiences and learning opportunities. We also have a number of double and triple buggies to enable the babies to get out and about and explore the local community including book bug sessions at the library, visiting local shops and parks.
